Who Is Tiffany Kelly?

Tiffany Kelly is Peace, she is Light, she is Love.  Aside from those three important aspects, she is an entrepreneur, mother of three, a daughter, a sister and an aunt. All of which she is PROUD to be!

What makes Tiffany unique?

The most unique thing about Tiffany is her ability to gracefully bounce back into shape after weathering any storm.  She has always believed that success is achieved through effort, determination & perseverance.  Once her mind is set, she makes sure her dreams and aspirations come into fruition.

What are your hobbies and pastimes?

My hobbies and past times include watching ballets, of course spending time with my children exploring the wonderful city of St. Louis, singing and just having plain ole fun!

Savvy Silhouettes is…

Savvy Silhouette is an Upscale Bridal Consignment, Resale & Rental Company.  Our  mission is to provide the best market exchange of affordable bridal dresses, formal wear and accessories to women for special occasions. Our Motto is: Recycling Never Looked So Good!  We carry designer, pre-loved and new wedding, bridesmaid, prom, mother of bride/groom gowns, prom & flower girl dresses as well as accessories.

What inspired you to do Savvy Silhouettes?

My passion for weddings and wedding attire began at age 12. I would grab my mothers J.C. Penny’s catalog and look at the gowns in the wedding section. I admired so many gown designers even then!  Dreaming of my wedding day and admiring the gowns was lovely but I was always suprised at the expense. I didn’t quite know what I wanted to do with wedding gowns at that time, but I knew I’d always wanted to be around them and brides-to-be!

My inspiration to begin Savvy Silhouette began when I was working in a position at Wells Fargo and very unhappy about not living my true dreams.  While helping plan my sister’s wedding, I also began conversing with her & several other brides-to-be about the cost of wedding gowns in today’s economy.  I listened to them discuss how they wished gowns were more inexpensive, as the other pretty pennies saved could be used on other wedding expenses, especially the couples honeymoon. As I was once a bride, I understood the pressures of finding the perfect gown but at a reasonable expense. I came up with the idea of bridal consignment which I knew would assist in cutting cost for all women who were looking for wedding gowns, prom dresses and dresses for any special occasion. It didn’t end there. I knew that most of these gowns were only worn once and then pushed to the back of the closet never to be worn again. I also felt, a pre-loved, fashionable gown, could surely be a treasure to a savvy shopper as she may find a breathtaking gown that will have her guests talking for a lifetime.   Promoting an eco-friendly environment for these pre-loved gowns and generating funds for their one-time only owners made me smile!  I then took a leap of faith, quit my job and worked on my business plan!  The magic happened from there!

Daily Inspiration

My daily inspiration is life itself.  Life is the greatest teacher of all.

Who is your favorite Hip-Hop artist and why?

My favorite Hip Hop Artist is Lupe Fiasco!  Not only is he a fellow Aquarian, but he is a lyrical genius… To me anyway, lol!  His ability to rap about life & politics in such a smooth way makes me love him even more!

Dreams and Aspirations

My dreams and aspirations are always growing and getting bigger!  They say, “If your dreams in life don’t scare you, they’re not big enough.”  The biggest dreams and aspirations on my agenda are to expand Savvy Silhouette nationwide and to start and Multi-Cultural Bridal Magazine.  Women all over the world are getting married and I want women all over the world to see the marriage customs, décor & fun in all cultures and all weddings.

Quote You Live By

My favorite quote is from one of my favorite books: ““There is only one thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve: the fear of failure.”  ~ Paulo Coelho, The Alchemist

Final Thoughts

Once you have a clear vision of what you want in life, in every aspect of life, the universe will give you all you need to achieve anything, to move mountains and to make dreams come true.  It is up to you to be fear-LESS, walk your path and get back up and PUSH, even in the face of adversity.
