St. Louis hip-hop fushion band iLLPHONiCS announced their new partnership with Kansas City record label The Record Machine, well-known for organizing KC’s annual Middle of the Map Fest. The announcement comes after an almost two year campaign of the band’s self-titled and best selling album. “We are excited about this opporunity to be working with the Kansas City based label The Record Machine. They share our vision and putting out excellent music and stay organic and true to self. We look forward to what the future holds and we plan on continuing to put out excellent music,” says lead vocalist and band frontman Larry “Fallout” Morris. Emmitt James recently moved from the Midwest to Los Angeles to follow his dreams in music and fashion. His cross country journey inspired the lead single “Coming Back“, from his forthcoming Hunger Pains EP. The song is an ode to the humble beginnings that James left behind in order to take a risk on moving to the entertainment hub of the world in LA.
